Now that the Canadian trucker convoy has been vilified by most of the powers that be in that country, and most of the dinosaur, legacy media in the United States, American truckers are rumbling about a convoy of their own. At this point, a date has not been nailed down for a single effort (there appear to be several, actually), but the community is awake.
And in the USA, the truckers are set to make some noise at the elite’s most cherished sporting event: the Superbowl.
This Sunday, a group of American truckers in California, collectively known as the USA Trucker Convoy, are reportedly planning to host a protest similar to the one in Ottawa outside Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium ahead of Super Bowl LVI between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET.
In addition to the annual ad fest, that’s one reason to tune in. The recently paganistic halftime show is not.
“Everyone be ready and tell everyone about the: SUPER BOWL PROTEST! Officials will host a Super Bowl while forcing kids to mask. End the mandates! LET’S SHUT THIS THING DOWN!” the group wrote on Telegram. “Shut the SUPER BOWL DOWN!!! Surround SoFi Stadium with Trucks!!!”
The real threat of the trucker protests, as we are seeing manifest on the US-Canadian border, is a further and more severe disruption of the supply chain for necessary items. With inflation already high, any deficit of that sort will lead to more and more empty store shelves and shortages, not unlike the great toilet paper psych-op of 2020.
The truth of the matter, though, is that the working people have had enough, and are ready to return to some semblance of normal with no restrictions for movement. If that means messing with the Superbowl, may God be with the big rigs and their owners.
