Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has not been shy when it comes to publicizing her thoughts on just about any topic in the three years or so she has been on the American political scene. But, until now, she hasn’t really appeared to be certifiably nuts.
That changed when Ms. Ocasio-Cortez took to her Instagram account to complain rather dramatically about being terrified when the invasion of the fake MAGA warriors into the Capitol Building happened on January 6.
As it turns out, she wasn’t even there.
That didn’t stop her from putting into words the mainstream media and Democrat talking points about the invaders that makes them sound like tin-foil hat wearing nuts when really they were most likely paid mercenaries.
As she described the events that transpired during the riot, she talked about going to the protected “extraction point,” where lawmakers would be safely removed from the Capitol. Even though it was only her colleagues, she said she still didn’t feel safe.
“[T]here were QAnon and white supremacist sympathizers and, frankly, white supremacist members of Congress in that extraction point who I know and who I have felt would disclose my location and would create opportunities to allow me to be hurt, kidnapped, et cetera,” she said, according to Elle.
Given that no one has ever been able to define just who is in the movement following the online anonymous poster or team of posters signing breadcrumb drops as “Q”, how would she know the people are “white supremacist sympathizers” when a cursory look at any Trump Make America Great Again crowd shows the diversity that the Democrats could only dream of having under their tent instead of a bunch of aging white suburbanites who can’t sleep without an armed alarm system?
