The site of the former Trump Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, is set to be cleared at the end of January, and the powers that be in that ‘burg are convinced that some disgruntled never Trumper flush with cash will pony up to push the button, and make the thing go “POOF.”
Here’s the deal … the former Trump Plaza casino in Atlantic City is scheduled for demolition next month — pretty close to when Trump leaves the White House — and for the right price, someone gets to bring down the joint.
The auction is doubling as a fundraiser benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City and the mayor’s hoping the big prize hauls in over $1 million.
A million dollars is a hefty price tag for any American strapped for cash after the year of COVID to pony up. Honestly, where local authorities think there are actually a majority of Americans who can’t wait for the president to leave office, the truth is that the American people are really waiting for the election fraud mess to be straightened out so that we can go back to the way things were while the Trump Administration was running the economy.
They actually know how to do it.
The other side – local governors, mayors, county executives – are the ones who shut down just about everything to prevent mass infection with a virus that has a 99% survival rate.
No matter how altruistic the cause may be, red-blooded Americans just don’t have it right now to pay to push a button.
Besides, the casino in Atlantic City did give President Trump some much-needed experience in dealing with the mob and mafioso sorts of people. That kind of experience just can’t be had in a book or with wishful thinking.
