Liberal Democrat Mayor Sharon Weston Broome is not at all happy about the actions taken by the Police Union’s President Brandon Blust, who has spent money to have warning messages placed on billboards entering the city.
“WARNING: Enter at your own risk,” one graphic reads on a larger billboard message that highlights the fact that there have been 46 homicides in 7 months followed by a quote from Baton Rouge Police Chief Murphy Paul, “I’m worried.”
Chief Murphy Paul has good reason to be worried too, as the second billboard by the police union highlights Baton Rouge as the 5th deadliest city in the united states and the anti-police sentiment that has been sweeping across the country is only making matters worse.
The overall crime rate in Batton Rouge exceeds the national average by 141% with a stunning crime rate registering 69 per one thousand residents. Of course like all good Democrat politicians Mayor Broome insists she bears no responsibility and has gone so far as to attack the police union when invited on a local radio station program accusing them of preventing her from terminating corrupt cops.
The Mayor is on the ballot for reelection this fall and it would be fair to say that the Police Union does not want to see her reelected and have accused her of preventing the police doing their job effectively and destroying the police departments moral and making it difficult to retain good police officers.
Homicides are up roughly 40 percent from this time last year following a downtrend for several proceeding years…

Contrary to all the liberal BS lies being pushed since the death of George Floyd there is no systemic racism in our nation’s police departments and the YouTube cops getting so much negative attention represents a very small percentage of the nation’s 900 thousand police officers…
You would be hard-pressed to find another profession with so many men and women who would tolerate the abuse and disrespect the American police officer is being subjected to in recent months that would still stand to protect and save the life of the people beating them with clubs just moments before.
These mobs destroying our cities that claim to care about black lives have destroyed the lives of and killed more blacks and minorities in the past 6 or 7 weeks than the nation’s law enforcement officers have in the past decade…
I’m glad this Police Union has put their message on these billboards to expose the damage the liberal politicians are doing… The silent majority needs to stand up now and send a message that’s loud and clear to the liberal loons…
