Publicly, anyway, the Biden camp is busy trying to erase any and all remnants of the President Donald Trump Administration from the American government. Not only has the foreign policy been changed back to the Obama era, and the media briefings have gone back to unchallenging pap, but now the Department of Homeland Security, the people who maintain the borders and more, is about to undergo an “internal review” to stamp out extremism and concentrate on domestic terrorism rather than keeping the integrity of the border secure.
It sounds like big brother will be watching all Americans who don’t go along with the horror show that is the age of Biden.
News of the review came Monday in an announcement from Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who ordered that it begin immediately.
“Domestic violent extremism poses the most lethal and persistent terrorism-related threat to our country today,” Mayorkas said in a statement. “As we work to safeguard our Nation, we must be vigilant in our efforts to identify and combat domestic violent extremism within both the broader community and our own organization.
“Hateful acts and violent extremism will not be tolerated within our Department.”
Uh-huh.
This action by Mayorkas is just the latest in the cabinet-level departments to take the initiative and make the effort to quash Make America Great Again from inside the government itself; the people who are supposed to be working FOR American citizens, not against us.
Multiple members of President Biden’s cabinet have made addressing “extremism” inside the federal government a priority in the wake of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered a 60-day “stand down” of the entire US military back in February in order for commanders to address the threat.
Pentagon press secretary John Kirby described the military-wide pause at the time as similar to stand-downs that units have to do to address safety concerns.
All of which is really rather interesting since the people at the Pentagon itself would not let Biden’s people in the door a couple of months back.
The Democrats are determined that the Trump years are to be dumped into the circular file of history. Too bad enough Americans lived them and want them back.
