As promised by Attorney General William Barr last night on the Sean Hannity show there have been developments in the John Durham investigation.
Attorney General Barr said last night on Hannity that the development we would see today was not going to be the earth-shattering kind that so many are eager to see, but he did say it would be an indicator of things to come…
Today they announced that the Attorney for the Federal Bureau of Investigation who altered documents to paint Carter Page a Russian spy for the purpose of obtaining at least two Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants (FISA), Kevin Clinesmith, has been charged.
The charge against FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith is a direct result of the John Durham investigation and Mr. Clinesmith is expected to plead guilty to the charge against him.
Mr. Clinesmith who was working with the FBI’s Office Of General Counsel first entered the picture when Michael Horowitz released his Inspector General report. Mr. Clinesmith was identified in the report as “OCG Attorney.”
The Inspector Generals report described Clinesmith’s infraction as “altering an email from another agency so that the email stated that Page was “NOT a source” for the other agency, which the FBI affiant relied upon in signing the final renewal application… Of course, he LIED!
The Inspector-General had also discovered a series of text messages between him and another FBI attorney… One conversation went like this:
CLINESMITH: “I’m just devastated,” Clinesmith texted to Moyer shortly after Trump won the presidential election in November of 2016. “Plus, my god damned name is all over the legal documents investigating his staff,” Clinesmith wrote.
MOYER: “Is it making you rethink your commitment to the Trump administration?” Moyer later asked Clinesmith, ostensibly referring to Clinesmith’s plan to remain at the FBI after Trump’s inauguration.
CLINESMITH: “Hell no,” Clinesmith responded. “Viva le resistance.”
A lot of people have been wondering why this clown who was clearly guilty as sin and caught dead to rights had gotten away with not being charged for so long… I guess when you think about it taking this guy down first makes sense because he is sort of the first to have actually taken their attempt to overthrow a duly elected president to a new level and knowingly and willingly committed a crime to further their efforts…
Viva le resistance… Viva John Durham… A bas les Democrats…
