I don’t know about the rest of you but I have been wanting to see a move like this since all this liberal cleansing of history began months ago…
Congressman Louie Gohmert of Texas must be reading my articles because I have made several suggestions for this to happen recently… Actually my suggestions have gone a little bit farther, but hey this is a good start… After all, the liberal mob has managed to get to where we are today through mission creep, so we may as well start our own creep on their tainted past…
The one thing the liberal Democrats seemed to have overlooked when they started this massive purge of American history under the pretext that the goal was to eliminate anything and everything representing our nation’s past history of racism, is that the Democrats are America’s original racist political party. The modern-day Democratic Party was founded in 1828 by supporters of Andrew Jackson…
Andrew Jackson owned slaves and traded slaves and the Democratic Party supported slavery from their inception… Every one of the pictures Nancy Pelosi recently ordered removed from Congress was Democrats… One of Joe Biden’s and Hillary Clinton’s closest friends praised by not only them but many other old school Democrats still serving was Senator Robert Byrd, a well-known supporter of the Klu Klux Klan and racist.
In 1863 the Democrats blocked the first attempt to ratify the 13th Amendment… For those not familiar with all the Amendments that was the one that freed the slaves… Something the Democrats were adamantly against…
In 1868 when the 14th Amendment came up for a vote, the Democrats unanimously voted against it… Why? Well, because it would have given those nasty slaves freed by the 13th Amendment citizenship…
In February of 1869, Congress passed the 15th Amendment that gave those nasty slaves that had been freed, then given citizenship the right to vote… The 15th Amendment wasn’t ratified until February 1870 but guess who unanimously opposed the Amendment and to a man voted against it? Damn, you folks are pretty smart… Yes, it was the Democrats… LOL
So what do you do as a political party when your efforts to keep blacks Constitutionally enslaved? Well, you start passing laws that make it difficult to impossible for them to enjoy their new Constitutional freedoms. These laws became known as Jim Crowe laws… The term was made popular by a struggling white actor who became famous for performing the role of a stereotypical black character with his face painted black… Jim Crowe became a sort of racial epithet of the time to describe black people.

The Jim Crowe laws prevented blacks from voting in the Democratically controlled southern states, made it illegal for blacks to attend school with white kids and a slew of other good old boy laws that were enforced by the good ole southern lawmen of the south… All Democrats.
in 1957, the Democrats held the longest filibuster in the U.S. Senate history to prevent the Republicans from passing the Civil Rights Act of 1957…
Congressman Louie Gohmert of Texas being more familiar with U.S. history than the average Democrat concluded that since the overwhelming consensus among liberal Democrats is that America’s past racial history, to include the politicians that supported slavery and other acts of oppression need to be purged from the public eye, then the Democrat party needs to be renamed… After all, is a school named after Robert E. Lee or a picture of Andrew Jackson incite fear or anxiety in people to such an extent they must be removed from the public square, then given the history of the Democrat party, they should tremble in fear and break out into a cold sweat wondering when the noose will be lowered around their neck.
Imagine walking into the booth to vote to see all those names with “Democrat” on the ballot or imagine having to testify before Congress and you look up to see all those names with “Democrat” attached to them… It must be utterly terrifying and surely, at least with many, it probably prevents them from speaking the truth for fear the Democratic Party could show up in white hoods the way they used to in days past…
Congressman Gohmert took to the House floor and read the following resolution into the record:
“Whereas on June 18, 2020, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ordered the removal from the capital portraits of four previous speakers of the House who served in the Confederacy, saying that these portraits ‘set back our nation’s work to confront and combat bigotry,’” Gohmert said. “The men depicted in the portraits were Democrat Robert M.T. Hunter, Democrat Howell Cobb, Democrat James L. Orr, and Democrat Charles F. Crisp.”
“Resolved that the speaker of the House of Representatives shall remove any item that named symbolizes or mentions any political organization or party that has ever held a public position that supported slavery or the Confederacy from any area within the House wing of the Capitol or any House office building and shall donate such item or symbol to the Library of Congress, and two, that any political organization or party that has ever held a public position that supported slavery of the Confederacy shall either change its name or be barred from participation in the House of Representatives,” Gohmert concluded. “With that, I would yield back.”
Congressman Gohmert then released the following statement:
“As outlined in the resolution, a great portion of the history of the Democratic Party is filled with racism and hatred. Since people are demanding we rid ourselves of the entities, symbols, and reminders of the repugnant aspects of our past, then the time has come for Democrats to acknowledge their party’s loathsome and bigoted past, and consider changing their party name to something that isn’t so blatantly and offensively tied to slavery, Jim Crow, discrimination, and the Ku Klux Klan.
As the country watches violent Leftists burn our cities, tear down our statues and call upon every school, military base and city street to be renamed, it is important to note that past atrocities these radicals claim to be so violently offensive were largely committed by members in good standing of the Democratic Party. Whether it be supporting the most vile forms of racism or actively working against Civil Rights legislation, Democrats in this country perpetuated these abhorrent forms of discrimination and violence practically since their party’s inception.
To avoid triggering innocent bystanders by the racist past of the Democratic Party, I would suggest they change their name. That is the standard to which they are holding everyone else, so the name change needs to occur.”
BOOM! Now, what Democrats? Maybe you could consult with the Washington Redskins for a little advice on how to go about getting this done… LOL
If you are wondering how I would take this even further as I mentioned above… Well, I believe every Democrat that was around during the period of segregation… And there are still quite a few, Nancy Pelosi just to toss out a name… They should all be required to leave Congress in shame because I’m pretty confident Nancy Pelosi was not giving up her seat at the front of the bus or rioting and demanding that blacks be allowed to drink from her water fountain… I’d bed she never once used the negro bathroom or drank from the negro water fountain… We don’t need people tainted like that still serving in our Congress…
