In order for Democrats to win elections, they really depend on keeping all of their constituencies in what amounts to life preserver rings all roped in a line ready to pull the levers for them. They dole out the goodies – just enough – to keep this group happy, and virtue signal to keep another group happy.
When it comes to deviations from the natural sexual order, the Democrats are “tolerant.” They accept any and all that the mean conservatives are said to reject just because they are different.
At least that’s the way it was before Manhattan hairdresser Brandon Straka created this video.
Since that time, and since the #WalkAway movement has gathered steam with Straka’s speaking appearances and acceptance by conservatives as a successful awakening, more and more people who used to blindly stay within the life preservers thrown by the liberals are waking up to the reality that they were being used.
They were being used to keep the Democrats in power.
One such group is the very one to which Straka belongs – gay men. As the videos were posted on YouTube of those walking away, many were made by gay men who understood at long last what was going on. And with the gathering steam, the hemorrhage of the gay men’s vote gathered steam.
Recently, the gay men hook-up site Hornet revealed just how severe the #WalkAway issue is for Democrats when it comes to gay men. In a survey of the 1,200 Americans who use the site, 45% claim they will be voting for Donald Trump this November.
Why? Because President Trump does not reject gays, no matter what the Democrats have to say. A member of his administration had this to say.
“My name is Rick Grenell. I’m America’s first openly gay cabinet member,” Grenell said in the video, The Daily Wire reported. “As a United States senator, Joe Biden said gay people couldn’t receive security clearances because we would be a security risk. Joe must have been terrified when Donald Trump appointed me as Acting Director of National Intelligence. The fact that I’m gay didn’t even faze Donald Trump; Joe Biden certainly didn’t congratulate the appointment or even acknowledge it. But his silence was deafening.”
“President Trump has done more to advance the rights of gays and lesbians in three years than Joe Biden did in forty-plus years in Washington,” Grenell added. “For four decades, Joe Biden has attacked the LGBT community; as a U.S. senator, Biden supported ‘Don’t Ask; Don’t Tell’ and the Defense of Marriage Act. Biden voted to cut off federal funds to any school that teaches acceptance of homosexuality. Biden said again and again that he was against marriage equality.”
Conservative thinking may actually agree with Biden in the case of the social issues, even if the backing was in the distant past, but the reality is that President Trump’s stances on economics are what is attracting gay men all while not really talking about the rest.
Losing this constituency will be a blow to the Democrats, that’s for sure.
