Dramatic Video Of Heroic Cop

Watch: Disabled Man Rescued From Certain Death

In an era when police officers are coming under attack from all directions with no support from the politicians and prosecuting attorneys looking for more reasons to criminally charge police officers that they are the actual criminals, it’s a wonder any of them will go out of their way to give directions to someone much less risk their lives to save anyone…

Fortunately, no matter how hard the liberal loons try to brand America’s men and women in uniform as heartless, evil racist, their integrity and character that inspired them to pursue the profession is beyond such petty ignorance and even those that might not want to go out of their way can’t get past that which was likely instilled in and reinforced in their character their entire life and when they see someone in need instinct takes over and they act without regard for their own personal safety…

This is one such incident that puts such qualities on display and as you will see in the video below the wheelchair-bound man is alive today because of a police officer… A total stranger who has likely seen little respect or appreciation from the public recently… Risked her life to save his…

The video below is from the Lodi, California police department and the heroic Police Officer wearing the bodycam who risked her life is Officer Erika Urrea…

Officer Urrea was on routine patrol Wednesday morning when she spotted an elderly wheelchair-bound man stuck in the train tracks unable to move with a Union Pacific train barreling straight toward him sounding its horn.

Without hesitation or regard for her own personal safety, Officer Urrea jumped out of her patrol car and rushed to the elderly man in the wheelchair. Officer Urrea had only seconds to move the elderly mad and after a quick attempt to free the wheelchair that was stuck, she grabbed the man up out of the chair and yanked him from the chair and fell backward with him hitting the ground as the train smashed into the wheelchair.

When Officer Urrea stood up to pull the man further from the tracks, she noticed that while she had saved his life the train had still impacted the lower portion of the elderly man’s legs. They were both lucky to have survived the incident though as you will see in the video… One second slower or the slightest complication that would have prevented her from getting him from the chair and they would have both been dead today.

Officer Urrea is a 14-year veteran of the Lodi Police Department… The department has released statements expressing how proud they are of her heroic actions but the spokesperson for the department has said She is very humble and will not do any public interviews… To her, like hundreds of thousands of the good hard-working men and women in law enforcement, she was just doing her job.

The elderly man in the video has not been identified but he was transported to a local hospital and remains in stable condition.

Our lives can change in the blink of an eye… It’s worth living them to the fullest.
