Current FBI chief Christopher Wray has decided to play see no evil monkey. This week before a Congressional Committee the man who is over the department that claims riots in Portland, Oregon, just aren’t happening said that that same department has no evidence that there is a widespread effort to rig the 2020 election via voter fraud.
Okay…well…maybe it’s just anecdotal that there are reports from all over the nation of previous residents at various addresses are being mailed ballots and that individuals are reporting that they are getting up to five ballots to use in mail-in voting.
Maybe the various elections that have happened in the last year where tens of thousands of mail-in ballots have had to be thrown out due to irregularities and other issues are just anomalies. Maybe there really isn’t anything wrong with those ballots, and tossing them was done in haste.
And maybe mail-in ballots sent to registered voters don’t have markings on them that could be traced. And certainly, not the people who are counting the ballots once they arrive at a secret location would count each one equally. Right?
“Certainly to change a federal election outcome by mounting that kind of fraud at scale would be a major challenge for an adversary,” Wray said, adding that the FBI would “investigate seriously” any issue with widespread fraud by mail.”
The people pushing for mail-in ballots in a presidential election want the rest of us to believe that there is no way fraud would be part of the equation.
With all the ballots being outside a chain of evidence signature provenance, how can we be assured the election is secure.
There is no way to reconcile that.
