Florida Sheriff Will NOT Allow Face Masks To Be Worn...By Anyone!

WOW! Think whatever you want about this Sheriff’s decision, right, wrong, or indifferent at least he has the guts to take a position and stand by it… More than can be said about any liberal in this world…

Sheriff Billy Woods who has been elected by the good people of Marion County Florida to maintain law and order has demanded that all of his deputies and other employees of the Sheriff’s department remove their mask citing security concerns that are the result of a nationwide hatred of law enforcement officers since George Floyd was killed.

Sheriff Woods is also demanding that any visitors to his Sheriff’s office buildings remove their mask as well or leave citing the same security concerns… And he is serious about it too… Quite possibly dead serious!

In an email, to his employees, he wrote:

“My order will stand as is when you are on duty/working as my employee and representing my office–mask will not be worn.”

In other communications Sheriff Woods firmly informed his employees of the following:

“This is no longer a debate nor is it up for discussion. Please keep in mind this entire pandemic is fluid and constantly changing the way things are done. However, my orders will be followed or my actions will be swift to address.”

Sheriff Woods is clearly quite serious about the mask issue and has said that while this is an issue that could be debated all day long as to why one should or should not wear a mask, he believes that for every professional out there that says mask should be worn, there is another that says they should not be worn… And that’s really hard to argue because it’s true…

Since Sheriff Woods is not in charge of the entire county, he does allow for his officers to ask for exemptions when attending court, or visiting hospitals, schools, and jails.

There will however be no exemption for special details or special events–paid or not–according to his orders.

The Sheriff’s mask order has a lot of people pretty fired up though… Marion County is located in Central Florida and has had more than 6,600 COVID-19 cases of which at least 102 people have died from the virus.

The Sheriff has had at least five deputies and about thirty employees who work in the jail test positive for COVID-19… He’s not one of them…

He’s definitely not alone in his thinking though… For all the lip service the liberals give to “following the science” there is actually no science to support that these “face coverings” being worn are at all effective at stopping the virus… In fact, all of the studies and experiments conducted have shown that with the exception of the N95 mask, cloth face coverings are at best 40% effective… Give or take a few percentage points.

The liberal media seems to have forgotten, but when it was in vogue initially to tell everyone mask were not effective the liberal media ran story after story of experiments they conducted to prove to us how a mask was useless. Now they tell a different story…
