Over and over again from the Democrat Party and the people who keep the carcass of it propped up, denials abound whenever the topic of voter fraud and election tampering comes up. The standard answer is that it doesn’t happen, it’s never been proven to happen or affect the outcome of an election (unless a Republican wins), and no one has ever been convicted of it.

The last point of that trio is a blatant falsehood with a provable track record, and now, thanks to the work of James O’Keefe and his Project Veritas, whistleblowers in the Somali immigrant community in Minneapolis, Minnesota, have exposed their own Congress Critter, Ilhan Omar, one of the obnoxious freshmen known as “The Squad,” for illegally harvesting votes.

As it happens, the whistleblowers talk more about the people who work for Omar doing the dirty deeds than her, but they do claim that the ballot harvesting is to get her elected back into Congress.

An investigation from Project Veritas purports to show that “Omar is engaging in illegal ballot harvesting and a cash-for-ballots scheme in her district in Minneapolis,” Newsweek reported. “The group, which has targeted mainly liberal groups with ‘sting’ operations, posted a video late on Sunday showing what it claims is evidence of an illegal effort to harvest absentee ballots.”

Project Veritas’s work has been known and hated by the left for years, but rarely has it ever sparked interest from law enforcement even with all the crimes exposed.

This latest video, and its sequel, have caught the attention of the police in Minneapolis.

Even if nothing comes of this investigation, this is very much a big step in the right direction as far as ensuring election security is concerned. Across the country, lawsuits are in motion pitting Republicans against Democrats as they harvest ballots, want to eliminate signature matching and so many mail-in ballots are being tossed out for whatever reason.

There is nothing more important in a representative republic than being sure the people’s votes count. Voter fraud of any sort violates the trust that elections are honest and that the will of the people is sent to Washington every time.
