The last thirteen, fourteen years have not been good for the swampian uniparty, or mono party depending on one’s perspective.
As the years have gone on, and conservative politicians like former Alaska governor Sarah Palin have been forcibly sidelined, and true grassroots movements like the Taxed Enough Already Party has been systematically silenced and forced underground by the uniparty itself – with the full cooperation of Republicans in Name Only, as they are called – the facade that the parties have We the People’s interests at heart is pretty much falling apart.
When it became apparent that the Make America Great Again movement, the Trump train, could not be stopped, by all appearances, the uniparty waited out four years and now are trying to stomp out any flairs of flame that might come up in Congress.
One such flame of hope is Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is a Trump loyalist and a woman who has not simply dismissed underground information movements that get Americans to think for themselves as “conspiracy theories.”
“Somebody who’s suggested that perhaps no airplane hit the Pentagon on 9/11, that horrifying school shootings were pre-staged, and that the Clintons crashed JFK Jr.’s airplane is not living in reality,” McConnell said in a statement first shared with The Hill. “This has nothing to do with the challenges facing American families or the robust debates on substance that can strengthen our party.”
Questioning the narrative even with reams of evidence that the narrative is probably not the way it really happened is not allowed. Got it.
But still, questions from people like Todd Starnes are worth considering.
“If her beliefs were so heinous that they disqualified her from holding office, why didn’t Republican leadership address the issue when she ran for Congress in the first place?”
Inquiring minds want to know.
