Megyn Kelly Smacks Down Jussie Smollett

According to one former conservative media darling, Jussie Smollett of “Empire” fame and the liar who got a lot of sympathies before the lie was exposed to the world, is getting exactly what he deserves.

In a blistering statement, Megyn Kelly took Smollett apart.

During a segment on her show, Kelly said she didn’t care what personal issues the “Empire” actor might be dealing with and did not “feel sorry for him at all.”

Kelly noted Cook County Judge James Linn delivering the smackdown on Smollett before sentencing him to 150 days behind bars, 30 months felony probation, a $25,000 fine, and $120,106 restitution to the city of Chicago.

Kelly also noted pleas for mercy from Smollett’s brother, Jojo, who claimed the judge was unaware of the difficulties the actor was facing.

“We don’t care! I couldn’t care less what struggles he’s encountering. You’re going to prison because you did lie. You broke the law,” Kelly explained. “You actually involved a lot of the Chicago P.D. time, took up a lot of their time when they could have been solving murders and real crimes out in the streets of Chicago. I don’t feel sorry for him at all.”…

Cook County Judge James Linn [also] tore into Smollett, saying “you have another side of you that is profoundly arrogant and selfish and narcissistic. That’s the only thing that can be concluded.”

“You turned your life upside down by your misconduct and shenanigans,” the judge stated. “There’s nothing that any sentencing judge can do to you that would compare to the damage you’ve already caused yourself.”

“For you to now sit here, convicted of hoaxing hate crimes, racial hate crimes, and homophonic hate crimes, the hypocrisy is just astounding,” he said.
