More Questions Than Answers In Georgia With Release Of AG's Emails

Something’s rotten in the state of Georgia.

Not only is President Trump batting close to zero in the state’s primary system with his endorsed candidates, but the Attorney General there has some secrets to hide.

Recently, a local group made a request for emails between Brad Raffensperger and a foreign national with ties to the Chinese Communist Party. When the file arrived, more was not revealed than was:

Today it was also reported that copies of emails between Raffensperger and a Taiwan immigrant were released but the documents are 90% redacted. The Georgia Record/CD Media made the request:

The Georgia Record/CDMedia spent close to $1,000 for open records requests in the state of Georgia, asking for communications between Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and Jay Lin, a Taiwan immigrant who was a Johns Creeks city councilman and then was appointed by Governor Brian Kemp to his transition team, and then the Georgia State Properties Commission, which has influence over the Savannah Port.

We have shown circumstantial connections between Jay Lin and the Chinese Communist Party.

The results of the open records request were returned over six months later (due to Covid of course) and startlingly, the documents received are 90% completely blacked out. There are hundreds of pages in the 2700-page PDF file received that are completely redacted.

This is in addition to Raffensperger’s appearance before the January 6 Special Committee in Washington where any number of “lawmakers” are actively trying to pin a charge of insurrection on President Donald Trump. Raffensperger’s main claim to fame is actually certifying the state of Georgia for Joe Biden before a full audit of the vote in 2020 could be done in Georgia. That being the case, his appearing before the committee looks very much like he’s part of some larger operation against the forty-fifth president.

And he has connections to the Chinese Communist Party.
