When the people of one’s own political party start using terms like “parasite” and “benign neglect” to describe one’s time in office, it might be an indicator that good press makes the man.
In the case of Barack Obama, four years after his tour in the Oval Office concluded, author and journalist Edward Isaac Dovere is using those exact terms to describe the forty-fourth person to lead the United States.
A “parasite” on the Democratic Party is how journalist Edward Isaac Dovere describes former President Obama in his forthcoming tell-all book “Battle for the Soul: Inside the Democrats Campaign to Defeat Trump.”
In a chapter entitled “Benign Neglect,” Dovere writes that the section’s namesake is how Obama aides privately described his abandonment of the Democratic Party once in the White House. “‘Negligence’ might be more accurate,” Dovere, writer for The Atlantic and former chief Washington correspondent for Politico, writes.
“The numbers are hard to ignore: during his eight years in office, Obama oversaw a net loss of 947 state legislative seats, 63 House seats, 11 senators, and 13 governors,” he continues.
The severe hemorrhaging of Democrat control and influence in the Obama years is one of the least reported stories of the two terms. Despite having control of Congress at the beginning of his tenure, Obama led the loss of control of the nation for what turned out to be almost a decade.
Obama also neglected to fill the seats of hundreds of federal judges in his time, and President Donald Trump systematically filled them so that the federal bench is now loaded with constitutionally minded men and women rather than Democrat hacks who rewrite American law according to their whims.
Also reportedly in the book are Obama’s sentiments toward President Trump. Dovere claims that Obama called Trump a “F—ing lunatic” in front of donors.
“Battle for the Soul: Inside the Democrats’ Campaign to Defeat Trump“ should be an interesting read as a Democrat takes apart one of their own.

Obama has always hated America. He was not born in Hawaii, he was born in Kenya… so should not have been able to run for president. Obama is the F..king deplorable… NOT President Trump.
Obtaining a copy and reading it is my goal. It’s past due that someone is brave enough to analyze Obama for the low life lying snake in the grass that he is.
The most “endearing” part of Obama’s “rule” is that the White House will never see another black (or half black) President in most of our lifetimes. It was like having Geraldo Rivera as President!
Is it truly shocking? Not to me and many others who saw right through this incompetent Globalist racist. There may be some that this information will come as a surprise to, but they will likely attribute the true facts to the author being a racist. Some people just refuse to see.
