It is always a good thing to be passionate about a cause. Sometimes, though, being too passionate can lead to strange things.
A woman living in Washington, D.C., Lauren Handy, is passionate about being pro-life and protecting the unborn. In 2020, she was arrested for trying to block entry to an abortion clinic there. Police searched her home during an investigation and found something quite shocking.
Handy told reporters that “people would freak out when they heard” what was stored in coolers and said she expected the raid “sooner or later.”
The babies are currently with the medical examiner in Washington.
However, the mere presence of dead babies, aborted or not, in the home does not speak well for the mental health of the woman in question. Passion is one thing, but keeping the evidence of killing children in the womb close at hand is more than a little disturbing.
“There doesn’t appear to be anything criminal about that — except for how they got into that house,” Benedict said.
