That my friends are the text of the 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution. Thoman Jefferson, the principal author of the Declaration of Independence in a draft of the Virginia Constitution wrte, “No freeman shall be debarred the use of arms (within his own lands or tenements).”
Our founding fathers wrote the Constitution at a time when people could not rely on a police officer to show up within minutes of placing a phone call and the responsibility for one’s personal safety, the safety of their family, and even the safety of the nation fell squarely upon every citizen’s shoulders.
Imagine living in an era where the land is unsettled and there is no civilized structure of law… An era when the mob enforced what they perceived as right and wrong however the majority felt inclined to deal with it at the time… An era without a presumption of innocence when the government like the mob forced their way into the homes of private citizens and took whatever they pleased…An era where a mob could appear on your doorstep, threaten to rape your wife, kill your family pets, and sleep in your bed and try as you may there is no one that will come to your aid…
Welcome to the year 2020 living in a Democratically controlled city and you are the lamb sitting at the dinner table with two wolves trying to decide what’s for dessert.
On June 28, 2020, Mark and Patricia McCloskey, two well to do attorney’s in St. Louis, Missouri were sitting down to enjoy an evening meal when the hear and angry mob rapidly approaching their estate in a gated Private community. They had heard rumors there would be protests in the area like the ones taking place all around the country. They had not felt terribly concerned because they lived inside a gated community normally protected by private security so when they saw the angry mob rapidly approaching they were caught off guard and surprised.
Their first instinctive response was to dial 9-1-1 and ask for help. Much to their surprise, the police dispatcher told them there was nothing they could do to assist them… A response good law-abiding citizens around the country have been getting from their law enforcement agencies for several weeks now.
As the mob closed in on the McCloskey’s residence they were threatening an array or violent, lewd, and perverse actions against them so not knowing what else to do they Mr. McCloskey grabbed an AR-15 he owned and Mrs. McCloskey grabbed a small handgun they had purchased for her. Neither of them are gun enthusiast and neither of them had any desire to be in a position where they had to use them to defend their lives. They also had no desire to be brutalized, raped, and watch their estate they have worked so hard to get burned to the ground.

Faced with a balance of power and the possibility of death, no one in the mob was willing to risk their lives for their newfound belief and desire for anarchy and the mob continued on their way with nothing but hurt feelings.
The following day the Soros backed liberal St. Louis prosecutor, Kimberly Gardner, saw a video of the incident and released the following statement:
“I am alarmed at the events over the weekend, where peaceful protestors were met with guns and a violent assault.We must protect the right to peacefully protest, and any attempt to chill it through intimidation or threat of deadly force must not be tolerated.
“My office is currently working with the police and public to investigate these events.Make no mistake:we will not tolerate the use of force against those exercising their First Amendment rights, and will use the full power of Missouri law to hold people accountable.”
Remember now, these “peaceful” protesters destroyed a cast iron heavy duty gate in order to enter clearly marked private property then made repeated threats to rape, pillage, and burn their house down… They were NOT peacefully walking along a public street holding up signs. They were the epitome of a violent mob…
Enraged by the sight of these two well off white people having the audacity to dare put the preservation of life above the desires of the mob to have their way with them before burning their estate down, the prosecutor followed through with her threat and had the police serve a search warrant on the couple with plenty of media present. The police publically confiscated the family firearms and have effectively made the mob that was just threatening to kill then a couple of weeks ago are that they are now Home and completely defenseless…
Missouri has a castle doctrine that very much favors the citizens right to defend themselves with no duty to retreat so it is highly unlikely they will get a prosecution the McCloskey’s but the possibility the actions of the St. Louis prosecutor could get them killed by a returning mob is a good possibility. She has left them defenseless and helplessly at the mercy of any returning mob.
I usually tend to side with the little guy but while this couple is clearly quite well off, I hope by the time they are done with the St. Louis prosecutor and the city that has elected such an incompetent, petty prosecutor who has abused her office I hope the city is named St. McCloskey and the title of her eternal position becomes “woman who earns money for the McCloskey’s.”
