Now that information is coming out of the John Durham investigation that the Russia Russia Russia drumbeat ahead of the 2016 presidential election was all made up by the Democrat National Committee, the Hillary Clinton camp, and intelligence agencies loyal to them, it is time for the propaganda machine to start up ahead of the 2024 election since all public appearances are that President Donald Trump may well be running for the high office again.
The first salvo in the effort by the American mainstream media to not only start in on the propaganda but try and prop up the now dying narrative regarding 2016, comes to us from the blog The Daily Beast.
In a rambling piece that is more wishful thinking than any sort of substantive proof of the claim, the Daily Beast put out a piece claiming that Russian state media is telling the world how they are going to take out the ultimate revenge on the United States by installing their man, President Donald Trump, in the White House.
Last week, American intelligence officials reportedly assessed that Russian President Vladimir Putin may use the Biden administration’s support for Ukraine as a pretext to order a new campaign to interfere in U.S. elections. Though AP reported that “it is not yet clear which candidates Russia might try to promote or what methods it might use,” Russian state media seem to be in agreement that former U.S. President Donald Trump remains Moscow’s candidate of choice.
President Trump is actually a majority of Americans’ choice as well, but that doesn’t seem to enter into the wishful thinking of the writer of this piece.
President Vladimir Putin has claimed repeatedly that he did not order any interference in the 2016 election, and since the Durham investigation is turning out more and more information that it was a Democrat-led psych-op, there is no reason not to believe him.
This is just the beginning of the propaganda attacks on a Washington swamp outsider who threatens the political structure and its gravy train simply by his presence.
