During this time of extreme temperatures where the adverse effects are bringing the state of Texas to its knees, the people along the border are learning the true cost of illegal immigrants.
In one way, yes, they do know just how much of a drain on resources those who are caught and released by the Border Patrol on a regular basis are on their economies, but now, with the power outages forcing some towns to relocate their own residents just to be able to keep them alive, leaders in those communities are asking the federal government to find another solution in response to COVID restrictions that do not involve catch and release while the aliens are waiting for court dates.
One such person is Democrat Mayor Bruno Lozano, of Del Rio, Texas. He took to video to ask for the Biden team to find another way.
“I am pleading and requesting with you to please put a halt to any measures regarding the release of immigrants awaiting court dates, into the city of Del Rio and surrounding areas,” Bruno Lozano, Mayor of Del Rio, Texas said in a video message to Biden Wednesday….
“If you do send these individuals into our community, we will be forced to make a decision to leave them without resources under these dire circumstances,” the mayor said as images of empty grocery stores coupled with long lines appeared on the screen.
“Please make another plan for this federal issue,” he pleaded….
“We have been outsourcing dialysis treatments for at-need persons within our community,” he said.
“I cannot mix the migrant population with Del Rio residents that are extremely vulnerable and have been displaced due to the extreme weather,” he said. “We may be a small town that is off of your radar, but we are a community of 50,000 people who need your attention.”
If ever there was a demonstration of the limits of the system the liberals have been exploiting for decades, this is it. Much of Texas is frozen with resources strained and a power grid paralyzed by forms of electricity generation that do not adapt well to the cold.
With all luck, that will be remedied as the people remember this and the misery it has caused in the next round of elections.
