It would appear as though it is now in vogue for every federal, state, and local official suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome to put the full force of their official office behind trying to totally destroy and humiliate former President Donald Trump. As the Senate begins moving forward with its unconstitutional political theatrics to impeach a former president it has been revealed that the District Attorney in Fulton County, Georgia has formally launched a criminal investigation into President Trump’s efforts to overturn his loss of the election in Georgia.
The justification for the investigation is Trump’s now-infamous phone call to the Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger who released a recording of the call with Trump discussing the need to find some 11,780 votes that he needed to win the state of Georgia. This is according to a letter from Fani Willis, the District Attorney of Fulton County to all Georgia state officials instructing them to preserve any recordings or documents related to the 2020 general election.
“This investigation includes, but is not limited to, potential violations of Georgia law prohibiting the solicitation of election fraud, the making of false statements to state and local governmental bodies, conspiracy, racketeering, violation of oath of office and any involvement in violence or threats related to the election’s administration,” Fani Willis writes in the letter.
The letter also makes it known that there is no reason to believe that any Georgia officials are being targeted for criminal violations… In other words, it’s just another Trump witch hunt being conducted by some overzealous government official. This investigation is being conducted by the District Attorney in addition to one being conducted by the Georgia Secretary of State’s office… Why just waste a little taxpayer money when everyone can join in and waste a lot of it…
The liberal media is reporting that “election law experts” argue Trump could have violated as many as three separate state laws… These are from the same pool of experts that told you the Hunter Biden laptop investigation was a Russian misinformation campaign and likely the same pool of 144 legal scholars that signed a letter informing us that it was indeed constitutional to impeach a former President. I hope they remember that if we ever have a Republican congress again that decides to start righting some wrongs beginning with Jimmy Carter and impeaching him for sitting on his ass while Iran held our Americans hostage for 444 days.
As we are seeing as long as you suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome anything goes and nothing else matters as long as you hate Trump and are willing to devote your life to destroying him… As Congressman Green once said, they have to impeach him before the people reelect him…
It’s shameful the way this Democratic Congress under Nancy Pelosi has conducted themselves and I would imagine 100 years from now if history is preserved and taught, that the people will wonder where in the hell the grown-ups were at the time.
